Books

At Green Actions 4 Earth, we take pride in creating engaging and educational books for children that focus on environmental issues like pollution and global warming. We hope you’ll enjoy reading them and join us in teaching the next generation to care for our planet!

If you are not in the area of our organization, here are some alternative places to donate and recycle your items.

Best Buy is a popular store around the world but mostly North America that sells electronics like phones, tablets, computers, video games, TV's, and many other devices. The Best Buy Trade-In Program, allowed for anybody 18 and older, is a great way to donate used electronics that a person does not need anymore to Best Buy to be repurposed.

Goodwill is a non-for profit organization that helps improve the quality of people's lives. A way they do this is by accepting donations from other people which plays a crucial role in reducing waste in landfills. They accept a variety of donations but there are also certain donations Goodwill is not able to accept. The detailed information about their donation system is posted on their website.

Thrift stores are located worldwide and sell used items like clothes and furniture for a cheaper price if that is preferable for certain people. Since thrift stores only sell used goods, the only way to acquire that is through donations. These reused items that could have ended up in a landfill and polluted the environment are now given another purpose.

Many local libraries are willing to accept donations from people. Even though different local libraries could have different items they accept and don't accept, usually most take in used books, DVD's, and CD's. Again, these items can be repurposed and the environment is kept cleaner.

These are just a few of the many examples of places one could donate items to be reused. There is a lot of information online about other places that have a recycling program.

The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization dedicated to meeting human needs without discrimination. The Salvation Army Donation Center accepts gently used clothing, furniture, household items, and more. Donations help fund their Adult Rehabilitation Centers, which provide residential programs and support for those struggling with addiction. By donating, individuals contribute to helping those in need rebuild their lives, while also promoting sustainability through the reuse of goods.

A Food Bank is a non-profit organization that collects, stores, and distributes food to those in need. Food Bank donation centers accept non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and cereals. Some centers also accept fresh produce and other perishables, depending on their storage capabilities. Donations from individuals, grocery stores, and food drives help stock their shelves, enabling them to provide essential meals to those in need and support communities in reducing hunger and food waste.
